Training & Executives · Preparation programs
The program prepares. The exam certifies.
Two products, two prices, one syllabus.
The Institute does not deliver preparation programs; the RiskMathics group institutes do. RiskMathics Financial Institute has trained the financial sector since 2005 through courses, diplomas and executive programs. Private Wealth Management Institute covers wealth and private banking. Quantum Computing Labs covers machine learning, artificial intelligence and quantum finance. Every certification has an assigned preparation program, and every certification page states which institute delivers it.
The three formats —courses, executive programs and diplomas— exist for the same purpose: to prepare for a certification exam. Each program covers the complete syllabus of the exam it prepares for and includes mock exams built with the same taxonomy as the exam. It is optional: the exam may be taken with or without having completed the program, and the two fees —one for the program, one for the exam— are published separately and never combined into a single figure. Whoever teaches wants the student to pass; whoever certifies must be willing to fail them. That is why the program and the exam live in separate houses.
Courses
Short formats on one instrument, one model or one regulation; they bring a team up to date in days. They are the preparation route for the certifications with an open exam: derivatives and structured products courses for the staff of Afores, and derivatives courses for insurers, surety companies and pension insurers, delivered by RiskMathics Financial Institute. They cover the complete syllabus of the exam they prepare for and include mock exams. Calendar and fee to be confirmed on each certification page.
Executives
Executive programs for those who lead a function: less calculation and more judgment, decision and governance. The certifications marked as coming soon are born from them; each one covers the complete syllabus of the exam it prepares for and includes mock exams. With a published calendar or brochure: Chief Risk Officer Executive Program (25 modules, 135 sessions, 337.5 hours; October 2026 to December 2027) for Certified Chief Risk Officer; Chief Credit Officer Global Executive Program (21 modules, 112 sessions, 280 hours; October 2026 to September 2027) for Certified Chief Credit Officer; Global Financial Derivatives Specialist (22 modules, 128 sessions, 320 hours; August 2026 to September 2027) for Financial Derivatives Specialist; ESG Climate Risk & Sustainable Finance Executive Program (3 pillars, 15 modules, 58 classes, 114 hours) for ESG, Climate Risk & Sustainable Finance Certification; Corporate & Investment Banking Executive Program (12 modules, 100 classes, 200 hours) for Corporate & Investment Banking Certification; Private Wealth Management Executive Program (113 sessions, 226 hours) and the executive programs in holistic private banking, Level I (12 modules, 60 sessions, 150 hours) and Level II (12 modules, 90 sessions, 225 hours), from Private Wealth Management Institute, for Private Wealth Management Certification and Private Banking Certification, Level I and Level II; and the Machine Learner Certification™ core (14 modules, 150 classes, 452 hours across three levels; starting 3 November 2026), from Quantum Computing Labs. Programs with a calendar are delivered live, on weekdays and in Mexico City evening hours; the machine learning program adds alternate in-person Saturdays. In the risk program every module closes with a capstone defended before a simulated committee; the credit program closes with an executive crisis capstone before a panel. Risk, credit and machine learning allow a single module when only one topic is missing; an isolated module does not replace the complete route. The programs for Certified Insurance Risk & Strategy Professional, Alternative Investments Certification, Quantum Financial Professional and ESG for Afores Certification are being designed; the one for Investment Vehicles & Funds Certification is to be confirmed.
Diplomas
Multi-module programs with assessment; they build a complete foundation in one discipline. They are the longer preparation route for the certifications with an open exam: the derivatives diploma and the structured products diploma of RiskMathics Financial Institute, which cover the complete exam syllabus —including the SAR investment regime— and include mock exams. Calendar and fee to be confirmed. A diploma neither replaces nor accredits the exam: the certification is awarded by the Institute to whoever passes the exam, with or without the diploma.

Mock exams
Mock exams
Every preparation program includes mock exams. They are built by the same rule as the exam: multiple-choice items written at levels 1, 2 and 3 of Bloom's taxonomy —remember, understand and apply— and distributed by domain according to each certification's published weights. A mock exam is not a review session: it is the exam recipe applied to different items.
The exam bank is held by the Institute and is not taught; the preparation program works with its own items. Whoever completes the program knows the format, the pace and the level of demand, not the questions. In the open certifications the exam has 120 items in four hours, with a fixed recipe by subject and cognitive level according to the role; the mock exam reproduces that structure.
Preparation programs are delivered by RiskMathics Financial Institute, Private Wealth Management Institute and Quantum Computing Labs; the Institute builds, audits and administers the exam and awards the certification. Completing a program neither accredits nor guarantees passing the exam, and no certification marked as coming soon or in development holds regulatory recognition. Requests for information about programs are handled at growth@riskmathics.com and +52 55 55 36 35 97 ext. 2023; the Institute routes each request to the relevant institute.
